Hi, “Love Is Strange”, a beautiful movie I made last year is about to be released. I am thrilled to have played a part in this remarkable film. I understand I’ve made the cut, but I may be more of a garnish than an appetizer. Perhaps you’ll find me lurking on the side of the plate, beneath the carrots. The movie was directed by Ira Sachs, and stars John Lithgow and Alfred Molina. I watched Alfred, John and Marisa Tomei, create a family before my eyes, and cannot wait to see what it looks like on film. It is a wonderful and intimate look at love, marriage and family.
I reunited with my “Thoroughly Modern Millie” pal, Cheyenne Jackson, who is even more adorable than I remembered.I spent only a few days on the set, but I think I will remember the experience for a very long time.”Love Is Strange”, has gotten some extraordinary press, and is said to be amazing. Please look for it in August.

Love is strange, whether you’re a human or a zebra or something else entirely. It’s also familiar and miraculous and heartbreaking and awe-inspiring and sometimes totally exasperating.
But it is always love…and love is everything.
I’m so glad you made a movie about it!
Zebot, Thank you for your comment. I couldn’t agree more.Love is everything, or at least 97.3% of a balanced life. Certainly most, but not all plays I have done are about seeking, attaining, losing, and possibly regaining love. How to love, and be loved is a never-ending pursuit. One can always learn more.
